And here’s a preview of the cover of the issue we’re planning to publish digitally in October!
Yoshiko and Casey at age 17.
So Marco has been busy in producing materials for our pending Kickstarter.
Here’s the sneak peek of one of the lead women, Maya:
In previous years, I would sit down and write a recap of my trip to let people live vicariously through my smart-ass observations and experiences.
This year I’m only going to post things with my shiny new Twitter account, which I admit I’m still trying to learn how to use. So far it’s been fun and experimental.
I’m now armed, dangerous and ready for SDCC 2014.
Though on a side note: the Staples employee who was in charge of my orders had a nose piercing and Batman tattoos. I guess the SDCC Gods and Goddesses have been working the fate threads.
So here’s the first official collaboration between Marco and me for the project, which was interesting since we hadn’t yet done character design discussions. Hence no faces are shown. LOL
The postcard will be at the PRISM booth #2144 in the freebie section.
Please support the Kickstarter when we launch it!
I’m very proud to debut the first real piece of artwork for the new upcoming comic book series “Web Of Lives”, from the story arc “The Good Child”. The fantastic artist is Song Ye (check out his portfolio on Deviant Art!)

And yes, I felt I had to change the series title to “Web Of Lives” to be more intuitive to newcomers to my writing.
Here’s the link to the planned LGBT-related activities at SDCC this year, including the times of my panels and book signings.
Special Update 7/20: This series is being renamed to “Web Of Lives”!
A special announcement that I have a couple of comic artists that will let me launch this as a digital comic book series with the first issue planned in October. We’re committed to at least 4 to 6 issues to see if there’s an audience. If it’s financially successfully, it could be ongoing.
As a better teaser, the first issue will launch the comic version of my short stories “The Good Child” and “Two Way Mirror.” Again, stay tuned!
I am very pleased to announce that Marco Turini will be the primary artist for the pending book. So he and I will be collaborating in August to create some preliminary promo materials so we can launch the much needed fundraiser in September. Stay tuned!
Check out his previous and current work!
