Just finished the Yuri Anime/Manga Battle with the help of Jill. Very small attendance but had a lot of fun for everyone! And actually got a request to come back next year. (No commitment but will think about it.)
I’ve now established my profile on the Goodreads website as well as set up a give away for 20 paperback copies of the book. The giveaway is open to people in the US/CA/GB/AU as of midnight September 30th:

Just got word that it’s been scheduled for 8:30 to 9:20 on Saturday night (Oct 19). With an experimental debut panel, hopefully me and my “Vanna” won’t be the only ones who show up.
For more info, go to the official website: Geek Girl Con
I received word that I will be doing a panel for the event that Saturday (November 9th), “Yuri Anime/Manga Battle!” Exact time TBD but looking forward to seeing some of you there (the event if not the panel itself).
And “poor” Nico will be along for the ride as my Vanna.
I spent several hours yesterday volunteering for the photoshoot that was a fundraiser for NOH8 and HRC. I’d never really been involved in the NOH8 campaign before so it was all new to me. But I had the opportunity to staff the NOH8 tattoo table that people wore for their photos. I have to admit it was the most fun I had volunteering for something in a looong time!
Forgot to post this but the book has been available for a couple of weeks now. Too many web things to update.
Over on the creaturesofgrace.com website, Foreword Reviews – Clarion Review. 5 out of 5 star rating! Woo hoo!
List price of $8.99, but discounted 10% to $8.09 on the US site.
It is also available on European Amazon sites like UK.
Kindle version will be available in a couple of days. And iTunes version will be coming soon.
My final post from the mega-event.
A handful of pics I took that I’ve posted on my Flickr account.

Camping Plans: This was the day I knew I’d be waaaaaiting. Everything you’ve heard about SDCC’s monstrous lines are all true. But there’s the added twist that SDCC doesn’t clear rooms between panels, which means if you’re there for a 2pm panel in a popular room and you want to guarantee to attend it, it’s best to try to get in line early enough to get in by 1:30 pm. Which means you could end up sitting through a lot of panels that are of no interest to you, and thus means you could be taking up space from someone who might be but got in line after you. It’s why the Twilighters were hated so much.
